Simple dish, or fancy smancy meal?
I am a believer that too many times, in an attempt to create
a wonderful tasting dish, it hides some of the natural
tastes in food. I’m talking about when chefs add a bewildeing array of sauces, spices, Herbs and other foods to a dish.
I grew up where our food was “pheasant” food. Simple,
but gosh darn delicioius, and the servings where ample,
unlike many restaurants.
So, what’s your order please? “Simple” or “Gourmet”?
Must be a lot of Mac & Cheese lovers,
like me, out there!! Had it last nite.
Made some simple chicken breasts
tonite, oh, so good!
I couldn’t possibly choose! I’ve been known to nearly cry over a well-made gourmet meal. But nothing beats macaroni and cheese right before bed!
